More buyers will come to Walter and Irvine because most agents think they can close their businesses and go on holidays along with everybody else during the festive season. The general consensus from most people is that they “want to get Christmas over and done with” before they contemplate putting their home up for sale. The truth is that serious buyers continue to search for new homes throughout this month. On many occasions we have signed up contracts on Christmas Eve!

The good news is, Walter & Irvine will remain open over the Christmas holiday period. Our homes are available for inspection by appointment only, so we are able to minimise intrusion to our current sellers, whilst still giving the best buyers a chance to purchase their home. This leaves us time to focus on our job - helping people sell safely for the best possible price, whilst giving our buyers and sellers the freedom to enjoy the Christmas season and celebrate a new year with the knowledge they will be moving on to the next stage of their lives in 2010.
